Two sources now support ca 1830 birthdate, so will change this in his file to reflect more evidence of 1830 date of birth at this point. 1880 Census: Listed as Zacharias Mueller. This would make him born in 1830 or 1829, and this does not match Charles Krause's record for him having been born in 1826. What is consistent is that he was born in Germany, as were his parents.
