Note: They came to the US in 1846 but lived in New Orleans until 1852 when they came up the Mississippi to the Chester area and then navigated the Kaskaskia River to Mud Creek Prairie area. Their 2 oldest children Johann George II b12-09-1839 & Heinrich 12-26-1843 came with them on the Atlantic crossing.
Katharine was born in New Orleans 12-13-1850. Seven more children were born on Mud Creek Prairie.
After Christoph died in1866 his widower Anna Margaretha married Michael Maerz.
