Note:   Buried at College Place beside Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister-in-law (Mrs. Ed McFarlane) George Henry McFarlane, 51, died Saturday afternoon at a local hospital following an illness of about two years. He had been a resident of Walla Walla for more than 25 years, coming here from Woodburn, Oregon. He was an employee of the Union Pacific railroad for 18 years. Was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles He had resided at 720 North Tenth avenue. Surviving him are his widow, Anna L. McFarlane, three sons, Vernon of Seattle, Kenneth and Clifford of Walla Walla; three brothers Alney C. of Oakland, Edward P. of Boyle, Alta., Canada and Archie L. of Walla Walla. Elder W. E. Stewart officiating. Fraternal Order of Eagles will be in charge services at the grave. Interment at Mountains. Hope cemetery, College Place, Walla Walla, Washington. Marshall, Calloway & Hennessey, Inc. Funeral Home charged for Casket and Services $125 0n Jan. 14,1934.
