Peter & Catherine married in Dubuque, Iowa, and in 1877 they traveled the Oregon Trail, which ended in Woodburn, Oregon. Then they settled and raised their family at Mt. Angel, Oregon, which was near Woodburn. Where he farmed many years. Came to the U.S. about 1862 with his older brother. After Catherine's death, later Peter moved to Walla Walla, Wa. about 1913 after some of his children settled in Walla Walla. They had 11 children. Funeral service were held on Wednesday at 9 A.M. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial in the Catholic cemetery.
