Text: John was the father of Asa, who was born in Wrentham, April 8, 1738; married Rhoda Dunham July 3, 1760 and went to Brookfield, Mass., to reside. Later he moved to Washington, VT. He was the fifth generatiion from Michael and numbered as follows: Asa (5), John (4), Thomas (3), John (2),Michael (1).
Asa died in Washington, VT in 1807, aged 69 years. It is doubtful just when Asa Bacon moved to Washington, VT.
