Note: I was recently told by my cousin Ethel Pauline Wood, The youngest daughter of John and Elsie, that he was a veteran of World War One, and that he would rarely if ever speak of it. John's wife Elsie(Coomer)Wood just recently had her 104nd birthday. Elsie's mother Laura(Ross)Coomer, lived to be 100 years and 8 months old. Some very good genetics in this family.
