Note: Lucy S. Lyne Is Listed In The 1900 Census Living With Joseph And Catherine, As A Bound Child, She Is Listed In The 1910 Census As Their Daughter, So Apparently They Must Have Adopted Her, But Have Been Unable To Find Anything Further On Her. What I Did Find In The 1880 Census For Breathitt County, Kentucky, Is An Elizabeth Lyne, Living Next Door To Joseph And Catherine, She Is Living With The Family Of William Simpkins And His Wife Mahala, And It States That She Is Age 23, And Is A Cousin, And Cannot Read Nor Write, She Is Listed As A House Keeper, Now This May Be The Mother Of Lucy Lyne, She Would Have Been 41 At The Time Of Lucy's Birth, All This Is Merely Speculation, But Some One Has To Be The Mother Of Lucy Lyne
