Notes

Note: ndma had enrolled all of her grandchildren in her church cradle roll. Her Mom, Wilhelmina Antoinetta Peters Young, died when she was 1 year old. Her favorite color was purple. The night she died I woke my sisters up and told them grandma was in our room wearing a purple dress and they saw her also. I did not know about death and thought it was her come to visit. She was standing at the foot of our bed. Of course I have no memory of that, only of what I have been told. I have a baby dress and slip that she made for a grandchild that was miscarried. In addition to the table mentioned in the notes for her hubby, I also have a dresser that belonged to them. Mary Downing Mahan 2/20/2006
