a. Note:   rld. When I was a child she bought me fancy ruffled panties and dresses. She had polio when she was 1st married. I remember looking in the hospital window at Barney's children hospital (Called Children's Medical Center later) She was in an iron lung and I never forgot how I wanted to crawl in with her. The polio affected her right leg. She never complained about anything that came her way. When Mom was aged Marilyn and I worked side by side in her care, along with brother, Dan. Marilyn had a good sense of humor and I loved her laugh. I miss her very much and know we will meet again. See you later, Sis!!!! Mary Downing Mahan 2007
