Notes
a. Note:   , Ohio. This was during the depression and times were hard, but dad and mom always managed to feed us and give us the love we needed. As we were growing up, in later years and better times, dad bought old cars and restored them for show. My husband, John, and I do the same thing now. Except dad's were from the 30's and ours are from the 50's and 60's. Another sport was going to Indian Lake and skiing. Mom, Dad, Danny and myself and our dog, Blackie. This was during the late 1950's and early 1960's. We moved from Haynes Street to Beavercreek when I was in the 6th grade. When I was little dad would swing with me every night . He always sang Daddy's little girl. I lost my dad when he was just 59 years old. I wonder what he would have been like in his senior years. I do thank God that we got to keep Mom till she was 87. There are so many wonderful memories to cherish. I hope my future grandchildren appreciate these reports. While searching my ancestry I am thrilled to find the smallest of details to pass on to the future generations. My grandchildren love to help and we go to cemeteries and libraries all summer. May your lives be as good as mine has been.
