a. Continued:   1850 - William M. Riveer was born. 1870 - William married Louisa A. Stephenson, on Sept 19, 1869, in Maury, County Tennessee They are listed together on the 1870 census. He is 19 and she is 17 years old. William was a farmer. 1880 - The census for Maury Co. TN shows W.M. Revier and his wife L. A. living next door to his father and mother. It also lists a 10 year old nephew "Willis Willis" Revier, living with William and Louisa.. Prior to 1891 they migrated to Texas. Louisa died in 1891 in Ellis Co. Texas. 1900 - The census for Kaufman Co. TX show William living with his 2nd wife, Martha. We have found no record of William and Louisa having any children. This same Texas census list four children all born in Texas, after Louisa's death in 1891. William's oldest child, Estella, was born in 1893 in TX. The census also shows William's father, John A. "Reveer", living with them. William was farming and owned his home, with a mortgage. 1910 - William and Martha are living in Caney, Aloka County, Oklahoma. They have 6 sons living with them. There son, Millard, was born in Texas in Aug. 1904. Their next son, Bennett was born about 1907 in Oklahoma. Once again William was farming. It show him as an employee on a general farm. The spelling of the name on the original census still appears to be "Riveer".
