a. Note:   1860 The 1860 United States Census lists Margaret Davis age 8. She is living in the home of a widow named Sarah Wilson, age 68. Sarah was her maternal grandmother. Margaret's mother is listed, Nancy Davis age 33, and also a Edna Wilson, age 26. Edna was probably the daugther of Sarah and also Nancy's sister. A 5 year old boy, James Davis, is also listed. The census does not give family relationships, but I am presuming that James Davis is Margaret's little brother.
