a. Note:   Mrs. Myrtle Dodson Fremont (Ohio) News-Messenger, August 18, 1969 Mrs. Myrtle B. Dodson, 85, 2104 west Garrison Street, died Sunday at 3:45 p.m. in Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health and hospitalized since August 9. Mrs. Dodson was the widow of John P. Dodson, to whom she married to Defiance, O. Resident of Fremont 33 years, Mrs. Dodson was born July 11, 1884 in Vickery, daughter of Eugene and Sarah Drew. Surviving are sons, Ralph, Fremont; Lester of Clyde; Jesse, Paul, Donald, and Bernard, all of Defiance; daughters, Mrs. Luella Waldon and Mrs. Edith Watruba, both of Fremont; and Mrs. Helen Myers, Clyde; a sister Nora Courser, Lansing, Mich; 31 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. A brother is deceased. Friends may call at the Weller-Wonderly funeral home beginning Monday at 7 p.m. The Rev. Paul Nevels of Fremont Baptist church will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Defiance.
