Pierce; Birth Date: 1826; Death Date: 1910; Cemetery: Sidney OBIT: Sidney, Nov. 2, 1910. - Curtis Pierce died yesterday afternoon at his home in the east part of town, after an illness of about two months. Curtis L. Pierce was born in Huron county, Ohio, Nov. 29, 1826; died Oct. 31, 1910. He was married in 1854 to Miss Rosa Campbell of Mercer, Ill., moving to Sidney in 1867, and resided in Fremont county until called home. To this union eight children where born, four boys and four girls, three children having died in infancy. The living are Mrs. L. F. Morrical, Spirit Lake, Iowa; Mrs. A. R. Deming of Westmoreland, Kans.; Mrs. W. N. McMullen, Crab Orchard, Nebr.; Mrs. P. W. Rucker of Sidney, and W. V. Pierce, the yougnest and only son, who lives in the old home. All his children and wife were with him through his last days of sickness but one, Mrs. Deming. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at the Baptist church, conducted by Rev.
