Note: cept of the youngest grandchild, Shirley. . Her son inlaw was a long distance Truck driver and he lived with Louise as well, although he was only home every other weekend. Grandma Louise was a wonderful cook and loved playing pinnocole; she taught her grandkids how to play and all their friends use to gather at Grandma's house to play pinnocole. In her earlier yrs she was a Teacher in ND. After marrying Ed, she later did waitress work, later in life working exclusively in the catering business. Louise was a excellent cook and a devoted Catholic. She was a wonderful grandmother/mother and devoted herself to her grandkids. She always encouraged her grandchildren to read and try new things. Grandma use to tell us stories of her upbrining. Every Friday night while she was growing up, her parents would role back the rug in the house and they would all dance and play music. Louise was a excellent dancer and she and her husband use to save all week to go to the Lawrence Welk show in ND to dance on Friday or Saturday evenings. Louise and her sisters were well know around the Page/Pillsbury area as "those Campbell girls, they were the best dancers. " Louise was born on the family farm in Page or Pillsbury, ND. She is the only one of her siblings, and parents, that is not buried in Page, ND, St. James Cemetery.
Note: When Louise's only daughter Shirley Ann died in 1965, leaving 5 children under the ages of 15 yrs, the youngest being 5 yrs old, she brought them to live with her and raised them until they all reached adulthood and lived on their own, with the ex
