Mrs. Routon died Monday, Feb. 23, 1976 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home of Versailles. The Rev. Arnim Ray officiated at the services. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. She was born December 25, 1884, at Mt. Pleasant to T.H. B. Miller and Emily Tindell Miller. She was first married to Joe Adams on Nov. 22, 1908. He died May 4, 1940. In 1943, she was married to Shirley Routon who died May 12, 1958. Mrs. Routon was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Christian Church. She lived in the areal all of her life. Surviving Mrs. Routon is one daughter, Grace Farmer, of Eldon; a brother, Elmer Miller, Etterville; two granddaughters, Mrs. Gene (Mary Jo) Catron, and Mrs. Stanley (Donna) Miller; and eight great-grandchildren.
