Note: Robinson, 74 of 820 Chatham St., died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sardis United Methodist Church, with tghe Rev. Roy White officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Robinson, a native of Burke County, was a businessman and a member of American Legion Sardis Chapter and Alexander Masonic Lodge 285. A Navy veteran of World war II, he was member of Sardis United Methodist Church. The family said he was a loving husband and father. Survivors include his wife, Betty Parker Robinson; a son, Mike Robinson, Sardis; two daughters, Harriett Dixon and Brenda R. Roberts, both of Sardis; and eight grandhcildren and a great grand child. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Sardis Coffee Club. Memorials may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church Building Fund, Sardis, GA 30456 Friends may call until noon Saturday at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home, Millen, and at the church afterward. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. BIOGRAPHY: Golden Anniversary: 1947-1997.
