Note: C.W. Royal Claudous (spelling in newspaper) Wesley Royal, 69, Route 4, Waynesboro, died Saturday, Feb 3, 1979, at his residence. The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb 5, at DeLoach Funeral Home Chapel, Waynesboro, with the Rev. Loy Veal and the Rev. Hugh Shirah officiating. Burial was in the Burke Memorial Gardens cemetery. Mr. Royal was a native of Burke County, a retired employee of the C.P. Daniels and Sons Seed Co. and a member of the Waynesboro First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Hilda W. Royal, Waynesboro; and two sisters, Mrs. Dalton L. Minor, Waynesboro, and Mrs. Floyd Perry, Girard. Pallbearers were James Perry, Kenneth Perry, Audrey Daniel, Johnny Kelly, Bobby Jack Hill and Paul Tucker.
