DEATH: Mr. Millard Parker Retired merchant SYLVANIA, GA.- Mr. Millard Parker, 85, died Saturday, July 6, 1991, at Bulloch Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Sardis Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mike Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Mr. Parker, a native of Screven County, lived in Sardis until 1989 when he moved to Sylvania. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and was a retired merchant. Survivors include his wife, Marian Rackley Parker; four daughters, Syble Jenkins and Betty Robinson, both of Sardis, Willie Alice Shuman, Millen, and Kathryn Farris, Sylvania; three sons, Jimmy M. Parker and Millard "Mickey" C. Parker, both of Sylvania, and Frankie Parker, Sardis; a sister, Polly Lancaster, East Point; and 21 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Friends may call at the residence of his daughter, Betty Robinson, Sardis. Thompson Funeral Home, Sylvania, is in charge of arrangements.
