The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sardis Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill King and Roy White officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery. Mrs. Parker, a native of Screven County, retired from the folding department at Sardis Manufacturing Co. She was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Women's Missionary Union and the Homemakers sunday School Class. She was a Pink Lady at Burke County hospital. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy M. Parker and Mickey C. Parker, both of Sylvania, and Frankie Parker, Sardis; four daughters, Sybil P. Jenkins, Betty P. Robinson, Willie Alice P. Mills and Kathryn P. Farris, all of Sardis; two sisters, Ruby P. Kelley, Sardis, and Pearl P. Salsbury, Roswell; and 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Homemakers Sunday School Class and the Women's Missionary Union of Sardis Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Sardis Baptist Church, P O Box 280, Sardis 30456, or to the Jason Beard Fund, c/o Farmers and Merchants Bank, P.O. Box 519, Sylvania, GA 30467.
