a. Note:   Burnt Mills a flour mill on the Pequea Creek. Excess flour used to distill illegal liquor.
 Arguments for his identity: Marriage at First Reformed in Lancaster, PA. Record ID 309154. She is said to be from Conestoga Twp. Record found at Ancestry.com " PA Church Records Adams, Berks, and Lancaster Counties 1729-1881." Name spelt Heine.
 Jacob has son named David around 1777. Stein and Stone both can be form of Steiner. Elizabeth (from LDS list), Susan and Fanny are names given in various sources. David Heiney born around 1777. 1850 census living w David S and Fanny. Herr book lists Fanny's husband's father as unk Heiney and Fanny Stone.
 David b 1777 is buried in same cemetery where they are buried.
 Also Fanny H Shenk buried here. In Brenneman book her parents are David Heiney and Susan Stein. Kagy book gives parents of Fanny as David Heiney and Susan Steine who descended from Christipher Kucher from Lebanon County.
  Lanc Co Tavern Records: David Heiney applied for a tavern license in Conestoga Twp Twp in 1820 and 1821, unsuccessfully.He appears in these records as early as 1815. His tavern under sign of the Spread Eagle near Stumptown at intersection of Strasurg, Charlestown, Columbia Rd. and Lancaster-Burkholder(McFalls) Ferry. In 1820's, a Jacob has sign and location. (Could be Isaac's brother or son.) 1840's sign and location same with Isaac could be Isaac the brother's son.

 1870 Pequea Census David S but David not with him, no internt net index. Searched all of PA and used alternate spellings.
 1872 Buried in Marticvulle UM near a Warfel couple, but not next to.Are these children? Margaret wife of Daniel Warfel b abt 1813 has David in her household (1860 Census). Daniel Heiney islisted in Martic Taxes with David in 1830's - a Daniel Heiney appears in 1850 Census in Lebanon County with wife and three daughters. John Heiney near David in 1830 Census in Martic.
 07/05 Searched Kagy book. Lead that first wife is from Lebanon Co pays off. Deleted second wife and settled on name of Susan Stine.07/05 Acc to Quarter Session Margaret is pregnant and David pressing charges of father. Record does not state relationshipbut implies.
  Loose Heiney's and First Reform records - an unattached John, Henry and Frederick. Could they with Daniel be his sons? Have included John and Daniel. In Thyrza Heiny Samuel has a son named Henry born 1809 in Lanc Co - but he was married in 1832. Leaving him as possible David or John son.
 01/06 Drew Mc crabb asks about a Martha Heiney who married Jacob Byers in 1825. 1810 census would allow for her. Date of birth however makes her 5 months younger than David S (his birth from Brenneman History and hers from family journal.)
