Note: The 1900 census shows that Louise was born in November of 1830, probably an error, she had three children and all of them survive. The 1920 census for Washington County Maryland district 148 shows Louise age 61, owned her home free of mgt. She is a widow and her son Howard aged 45, grandson William Sharer and wife and their 5 children living in her home. She was born in Maryland and her father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother in Maryland. She was not employed. Her age of 61 would be consistent with our other records and so proves the 1900 record of her age is in error. St. Mary's Catholic Church of Hagerstown shows baptism records for Louisa Virginia daughter of Daniel and Margaret Tice. Date of birth is November 2, 1850. Baptism was May 13, 1851. The sponsors for this event were Ulton Moore and Elizabeth Moore. Her siblings were all baptized at St. Mary's and the sponsors were Ulton Moore, Elizabeth Moore, Michael Smith and Mary Smith.
