Note: As written in the Daily Mail newspaper for June 12, 1914: Mrs. Elizabeth Sharer, wife of Henry Sharer, died at her home in Williamsport yesterday afternoon, at 1:30 o'clock, aged 80 years of general debility. She was a member of the U. B. Church of Williamsport and was always in attendance until 9 months ago when she was confined to her home. She is survived by her husband, who is also near the four score mark and two sons, William and John, who reside in Williamsport. she is the last descendant of the Poffenberger family, well known in this county. Funeral on Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, services by Rev. W. Murray. Interment in the Riverview cemetery. Death certificate lists cause of death as stomach tumor. State Archives microfilm # SR3034
