a. Note:   Dr. Pullen owned 1/2 interest in a drug store, owned a plantation and Eva ran a boarding house. They had a black cook named Della who speciality was pies. Their daughters were given piano and organ lessons, taught to be fine seamstresses and good cooks. ============================================ T.J. Daniel, son of Juanita and Tom Daniel, told me on 9/4/01 that Dr. Pullen was the first school educated doctor in Yell County. ============================================ Not sure this is ours:
  The Advance Reporter 1 September 1911 Train Kills Child Marie, the 2-year-old daughter of B.B. Pullen, farmer, living a mile north of Harrison, wandered away from home and was killed by a Missouri & North Arkansas train. The mangled body of the child was found a mile from its home. [End]
