Note: I witnessed Ellen's name in the Union Hill Cemetery ledger, in the possesion of Willo Owens, on August 13, 2002. Mrs. Owens lives just on the other side, east of Union Hill.

Mrs. Nick Beach died at her home on Dutch Creek last week after a lingering illness of several months. Mrs. Beach was an affectionate wife, a good neighbor and was loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be missed in the home and community. We extend sympathy to the sorrowing husband and friends.
The Scott County News 30 December 1926 Mrs. Nick Beach was buried at Blue Ball last Friday.
