Note: Hale family Reunion Held (1976) The Hale family enjoyed a family reunion and picnic held Wednesday, June 23, at Spring Lake. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Hale and boys, Mr. and Mrs. Dencil Carter and family, Mrs. Eldred Tinder, Thurston Tinder and family, Danny and Kathy Goff and daughter, R.J. Hale and family, Leslie Hale and family, Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Hill and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hale. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hale have been their son Lindy, wife and two sons from the McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey and also their granddaughter from New York, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sultan. Tuesday evening all the seven Hale children and their families and Mama and Papa Hale (Mr. and Mrs. Roy E. Hale) enjoyed an ice cream supper in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy J. Hale, Jr."
Hales have reunion - June 1977 The Roy E. Hale family held their family reunion last Sunday at the CCC Camp. All of Mr. Roy Hale's children, grandchildren and the great grandchildren were there. Roy Hale's granddaughter, Annette Sullivan and her husband Jerry are visiting from New York. Larry Hale is home from Rutger's college for the summer. The Hale family will gather Saturday night at the home of "Lindy" Hale for an ice cream supper."
