Note: Aunt Pete told me that when she married Uncle Audie, my grandma made her wedding dress. Aunt Pete paid for the dress by wall papering a room for a relative. She also said that the picture of the Hale family that I have on the Scott County Web Page was taken shortly after their wedding and she is wearing that dress. --------------------------------------------------------- MENA - Wilma Lou Hale, 89, of Mena died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, in a Mena nursing home. She was a member of the Mount Moriah Community Church.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Moriah Community Church with burial at Union Hill Cemetery in Union Hill under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Tommy Stewart of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. Freddie Hubby of Mountain Home; one son, Danny Hale of Mena; a sister, Mildred Wagner of Waldron; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
