 SCRIBNER FUENRAL RITES HELD
 Funeral services were held at 11 am Dec 16 at Bethel Baptist Church for Mrs Alice Mae Scribner, 74 of 112 West Nash. She died Thursday in a local hospital. Reb. L.E. Holmes officiated in the service. Burial was in Parker Memorial Cemetery with J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
 Mrs. Scribner was a native and lifelong resident of Grapevine.
 She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Lula M Vann of Roanoke; six sons, Robert L Scribner of Brownwood, Henry T Scribner of Irving, William C Scribner, Billy Joe Scribner, J.W. Scribner Jr, and Leslie A Scribner, all of Grapevine; two sister, Mrs Maude Sparks of Fort Worth and Mrs Carolyn Thompson of Grapevine; a brother, Raymond Lee Sutton of Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
