Note: Elmer never married and like his father and brother Roy, he too liked to drink. He was one of the best small mill sawyers in the country. He and Roy his brother, went to British Honduras, just after World War II to operate a sawmill. He lives alone in the house that he and his mother lived in. He likes to fish and hunt. When he was young he hunted squirrels with a rifle and would shoot them in the head so as not to damage the meat.
