Note: Sarell Wood was a preacher. There are many deeds on record at the Court House in Essex County, where Sarell bought and sold land during the 1840's. In 1847 he mortgaged over 3500 acres of land in Essex County to his brother Ransom, who lived in Brookline, New York at the time. He removed to Grand Rapids, Michigan before September 1853.
