a. Note:   Mary Ann Wood on June 15, 1878 made a deed to Allison H. Wood for the West half of lot no 228 in the 4th. District of originally Troup, now Harris County, Georgia. The consideration was Love and efection, he is bound to care and provide for the comfort and necessities of said Mary Ann Wood in her declining years. Included was one mouse colored horse mule, about twelve years old. All household and kitchen furniture and all the farming utensils. This deed is recorded in Deed book K. page 257 in Harris County, Georgia. Allison died at Rome, Georgia while his wife was there for treatment for drug addiction. He and his wife are buried in the Hall Cemetery, Big Springs, Georgia near LaGrange.
