a. Note:   N158 I finally got some Adams Co. microfilm in that I ordered via LDS.  I found a deed heading listing Stephen Dunn and Isiphina Spiars in film #886235  Deed records, 1780-1886; indexes, 1798-1899  Adams County (Mississippi). Chancery Clerk.

My transcription below:
1830 Stephen Dunn grants land to Isiphina Spiars via deed gift. (Book R, p. 533)

I think this establishes kinship, and almost definately defines their relationship as father and daughter.  This coincides with Stephen's leaving of Adams County for Madison Co. now having given away his land to his newly married daughter.  

I have not seen the actual deed, just this listing in the index.  I will probably order the roll with the filmed deed on it when I make my next round of microfilm orders.
