TAYLOR, whom I've found in the 1850 census as being 54 years of age for Morrow Co, Cardington, Washington Twp. with a Martha TAYLOR age 49 B:NY. Also any info on a Henry John TAYLOR, d 1803 who had a son Nehemiah TAYLOR. We have a Nehemiah B TAYLOR, b 1819 but have no trace of his parents or their names. His father or gfather is believed to be from Scotland and his mother is from NY. Nehemiah has a brother: William, and sisters, Martha and Catherine. We have been stuck on this for the past 10 years and any help would be greatly appreciated; happy to exchange info. Also researching related names: HAKES, HICKS, WHEELER, CLAYPOOL,GARDNER, WASHBURN, and PECK. Nova Scotia. November 25. 1795. He also helped to build the old house and clear the land about it. He acquired land on what is now East Broad Street, about five miles east of the State House in Columbus. He built thereon the first framed house on tin- line of that road between Alum Creek and Walnut Creek, which house is still standincf. He soon sold his house and 40 lands and established a home in Morrow County. He died about 1855, leaving several children, all well educated and possessing strong religious tendencies. One of his sons became a minister of the Gospel and has led a very useful life.
