Note:   !MARR: Humeston Advocate Vol 6, No. 42, Humeston, Wayne, Iowa July 1, 1904 Snyder - Shute D.F. Snyder and Mrs. Rachel Shute were married at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. J. W. Taylor, last evening at 8 o'clock, by Rev. G. H. Putnam, of the Congregational church. The wedding was a very quiet one, only the immediate family of the contracting parties being present. After the ceremony and congratulations a dainty two course supper was served by Miss Mary Taylor, sister of the bride. Mr and Mrs. Snyder leave this a fternoon for Des Monnes where they will visit until after the 4th and will then be at home to friends at the beautiful country home of Mr. Snyder, south of town.
