Birth: �Ctab�DFeb. 28, 1830 Ohio, USA Death: �Ctab�DFeb. 1, 1902 Groveport Franklin County Ohio, USA Hester Ann Rainer Long was born February 28, 1830; and died February 1, 1902. She was educated in a private school in Columbus, and in Putnam Seminary at Zanesville. She was converted (to Methodism) in childhood. She was a member of Hopewell for 25 years. She was joined in marriage to Henry Long in 1850. To this union were born five children, four of whom survive. Irving G in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Mattie Rarey and Charles P Long, of Groveport, and Lizzie A Eyman, of Lancaster, Ohio. On moving to Groveport, Sister Long was made teacher of the infant class, which position she held continuously for 38 years, rarely missing a Sunday from duty; thus in real sense she was the mother of the Groveort Sunday School.
