Carroll died at Boulder, Colo., Sabbath, Dec. 17, 1920, aged 61 1/2 years. He was born in Illinois. His parents came here from Nova Scotia and died when Isaac was three years old. (Note: His mother was born in Nova Scotia but his father was born in Ohio). A good Presbyterian family adopted and raised the orphan.(Note: He was raised by his grandparents). He has lived in Colorado since 1885 and was married to Miss Belle Sisley thirty two years ago. He accepted the third angel's message eighteen years ago from Elder L.A. Spring and others and the fruits of righteousness have ever since been seen in his daily life. He was ever helping others more needy than himself. Bereft of their loved one, his wife and son Ivor are blessed with the consolation that he rests from his labors and his works do follow him. Their great sorrow is pierced by rays of hope. The bitterness and sting of death is softened by the hope of a glorious resurrection. Funeral services were conducted by Elder B.W. Brown, assisted by the writer. U.P.
