Ive searched for two days and have come up with this. Charles Haptonstall was born in Woodford County Ky on May 15, 1801 and died in Knox County Ill on 28 April 1871 His first wife was Rachel Manring/Mannering m. 4 June 1818.proven. A son Jordon b 1820, and possiable Jacob b. 1829. A wife Catherine Adkins b. in Ohio about 1815. d. Iowa . Had 10 seiblings. Father Lewis Adkins b. Virginia. Mother, Nancy Harmon. submitted by buck@jas.net Spouse. Charles Haptonstall, Ill. Married Charles, 1 Aug 1833 . No Children on the gedcom. But it is possable for her to have been the mother of all the other children except for Rachel. Elizabeth, I have nothing on. It is in my notes that she was a wife of Charles Haptonstall with no data. Sarah Westfall b. 1808 in Wood county Virginia. d. after 1880 in Ill. She appeared in Henry county Ill with Geo Oscar Mitchell after 1880. Father: Alexander Westfall, Mother: Prisalea Barnes. Submitted by buck@jas.net. Reported no children in Gedcom. Last wife was Sarah Anthony b.1820, whom Charles married on July 21, 1849. Laura I beleive there was two Sarah's, and I beleive that the last Sarah was Sarah Anthony Parkins. Maybe Sarah Parkins Anthony. Do you have her other husbands name? We have two birth years here that are far enough apart not to of been the same person. Had a daughter Rachel b Sept 25, 1851 Appleton . Ill, and marrid Dec 25, 1869, Knox County Ill. to Daniel Taylor. Rachel died 1907. Could not find any thing on the Parkin;s name or Anthony. This Sarah has appeared in the Census in 1850 with Charles Haptonstall. I beleive that this Sarah had just the one child. but raised the other childen.
