a. Note:   Dr Taylor died from cholera in Circleville in 1850 having been established in this town for only two years having bought the practice of Dr Marcus Brown on the latter's retirement History of Pickaway County and its Representative Citizens. I did find Dr. Harvey Taylor in the 1850 Census. He was b. about 1819 in Ohio and in 1850 was living in Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio with his wife, Ellen R. b. about 1829 in Ohio. Their wedding record only indicates her maiden name, RENICK and date of wedding: 30 Oct. 1849. Left Ohio in 1849 to be staff surgeon for General Winfield Scott in his Mexico campaign.
