Allen and lived in Hamilton County, Ohio, had four children, the last being my GGrandfather James Allen b in 1846, She disappears after this. I have no idea who her parents are. However I have found a record of Samuel Taylor marrying Mary B. Stevenson in Canal Winchester, Franklin County, Madison Township, Ohio. They had a Daughter named Mary Ann, I don't know the exact date but the will of John Stevenson who was Mary B. father is dated April 19, 1831 and he mentions Mary Ann Taylor in it. Mary B. Taylor died 31 December 1863, Samuel Taylor was a Tavern Keeper. Does anyone have any record of this family or of Mary Ann Taylor. Note: (Research):seth g allen Change to Thread View Sort seth g allen keith jonesna (View posts)�Ctab�D Posted:�Ctab�D31 May 2003 10:42AM GMT Classification: Query Surnames: allen im searching info on a seth g allen . he was married to an sarah allen and a isabella allen. he is listed as a blacksmith in the 1860 census and a farmer in the 1880 census. he had a brother a ebeneezer m allen also living in adams co. sarah passed in 1862 and isabella in 1874 he married a mary miller in 1875 and from what i was told he died in augusta il. i have no year of death on him and no clue as to where he is buried or sarah and isabella either . any help in these areas will be appreciated. Mary Ann disappears around 1845 when my G Grandfather James was born, all this happened in Delphi Township, Hamilton County, Ohio. He then married Sarah and then Isabella whose maiden names was Moores. Between 1845 and 1850 they all moved to Adams County, Ill. Seth's parent were Nathaniel Allen and Sarah (Sally) Gage. I do not know where or when Seth died. I do have a lot of information on his ancestors if you need that. According to my grandfather, Herman Allen, Seth was married at least 3 times and had 21 children. Herman is s/o John Oliver Allen of Schuyler Co, IL. John is s/o of Robert Taylor Allen. Robert is s/o Seth G Allen and first wife Mary Ann Taylor. Seth lived in Hamilton County, Delhi Twp, Ohio prior to moving to Adams Co, IL. Robert Allen and Melinda Rebecca Connell married in Clark Co, IL later moving to Schuyler Co. IL. Seth descends from Stephen Hopkins of the Mayflower through two of his children. According to Darlee Sissel, Seth's father's, Nathaniel, tombstone states he was born on Martha's Vineyard.
