Notes for George Retson: George immigrated to Canada along with three brothers William, John, and James. He formed a partnership with John and George bought farmland from brother Bill(William). The farm was called East Court Farm. The partnership did not survive and George moved to become herdsman of Napan Government farm near Amherst. Notes for Edith Taylor: George and Edith wrote wills leaving each other their estates. She the rewrote her will leaving every thing to her Daughter Ester. When George discovered this he then rewrote his will and left W.R. Retson a large chunk. He was killed in Scotland stepping off the curb and forgetting that traffic drove on the other side of the road.
