William "Bud" Loe Jr., 62, Independence, died Jan. 2, 1995, at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Park Lawn Chapel; bu r i a l i n Green Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel. Mr. Loe was born in Almyra, Ark., and lived in this area most of his life. He worked for the General Services Ad mi ni st rati on for 22 years, retiring as a federal fire marshal in 1992. He was a Navy veteran, retiring as a petty officer first class in 1969. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. H e w a s a mem ber o f the Farview Restoration Branch Church. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis M. Loe of the home; a son, William Junior Loe, Amarillo, Texas; four daughters, Katrina A. Loe, Blue S prin gs , Regin a M. Sperry, Honduras, Paula M. Loe, Olathe, and Pamela J. Loe of the home; two brothers, Robert Loe, Kansas City, and Donald Loe, Kansas City, Kan.; four sisters, Blanche Snap, Kansas City, Kan., Bi l l i e M ae Cyrus, Marshfield, Mo., Betty Jo Burckett, Kansas City, and Peggy Barker, Independence; and eight grandchildren.
