a. Note:   Warrenton Banner, Friday, August 27, 1915 Died at her home in the western suburbs of this city, Tuesday, August 10, at 3:40 o'clock, Mrs. Nancy Skinner, beloved wife of Charles A. Skinner, aged 55 years, 5 months and 13 days. Nancy Belle was born February 28, 1860, near Troy, Lincoln County. When a child her parents moved to Montgomery County and located near Jonesburg. Here she grew to womanhood. On August 28, 1878, she was married to Chas A. Skinner. In June 1889, she moved with her family to West Plains and has since resided here. Her father, S. B. Taylor, who was well known in this city, died in Warrenton, in March 1914 (sic 1913)-West Plains Gazette.
