a. Note:   The Warrenton Banner, March 20, 1947, Thursday Lewis Everett (Dick) Taylor of Kansas City, Kansas, formerly of Jonesburg son of Mr. and Mrs. N. O. Taylor. Relatives received a message last Thursday of his death. He was 55 years old and although he was a victim of infantile paralysis and unable to walk, he held the position of chief deputy in the office of L. C. Maddox, Wyandotte County register of deeds. Mr. Taylor had been an employee in the register of deeds office for 23 years and became chief deputy three years ago. He used crutches or a wheel-chair in the office. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Esther Taylor, a daughter, Mary Sue, of the home and a son, Everett Taylor, all of Kansas City; a sister, Mrs. Mae Burns, of Chicago; two brothers, Charles Taylor of Pittsburg, Kansas, and William Taylor of Kansas City, Kansas.
