Note: Alexander L. Caskey was inducted at age 24 as a Pvt 23 Dec 1863 and discharged 2 Dec 1865. He was in F Co. 2nd Cav Reg't. He resided at Eureka Twp., Dakota Co., MN and born in NJ. Also found a A.L. Caskey inducted 26 Aug 1862 and discharged 8 Sep 1862. He was in Reg't-Eureka Squad Citizen's Soldiers. A.L. Caskey and Francis E. Caskey are listed on 1870 MN census, page 121 along with Henry & Maria, John, Anna m., Greer, Irone & Susan Caskey. Also buried in same cemetery as Alexander is; Gladys Caskey, interment 14 Feb 1909 Henry T. Caskey 1880-1967 Ora Caskey 1873-1996 I am not sure who they are yet.
