Note: William Caskey, 96, of Rt. 8, Hagerstown, died Tuesday. He was born 22 Oct 1883 in West Liberty, KY, the son of Thomas and Martha LeMaster Caskey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Smith Caskey. He taught school in Morgan County prior to moving to Illinois where he was employed at the Illinois Terminal Railway System in Decatur, Ill. until his retirement in 1948. In 1962 they moved to Hagarstown, Md. Willie was made a Kentucky Colonel in July 1971. He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Clopper, two sons, Rufus Caskey and William R. Caskey. Willie spent his later years pursuing his interest in genealogy by tracing his family history.
