Note: 1931 Press/Independent-page 4 Frank L. Caskey, a well known farmer of Rich Valley, died at his home in that place last Monday morning. Mr. Caskey suffered a paralytic stroke the previous Wednesday and this brought about his death. He was born in Rich Valley in 1870 and had lived in this section all of his life. He was known throughout the county for his many sterling qualities and was very active in the affairs of his church. His passing will leave a void in the neighborhood that will be hard to fill and many friends in Emporium and throughout the county will mourn the death of this kindly citizen. He is survived by his wife and three sons: Fred, Erving & Charles of wrights, PA. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Rich Valley Church, by Rev. McFeely of the Presbyterian Church of Emporium and interment was made in the Rich Valley Cemetery. Corrections to above obit, Fred, Irving and Charles were Frank's brothers, not his sons. Frank only had one child, a son, Loran Minor Caskey.
