a. Note:   HOMES ARE SADDENED BY VISIT OF GRIM REAPER: Mrs. Ann Caskey died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Cheatle, of Spruce Street, Sunday evening, after an illness of only a few days. She had been enjoying fairly good health until several days before her death when she contracted a cold that rapidly developed into pneumonia and caused her death. She was born in St. Marys January 10, 1850 and was approaching her 74th year. She was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John Briendel, early settlers of this community. She is survived by her husband, M. Edward Caskey, and the following children; William, George, Edward, Joseph, Henry, Mrs. Geo. Herbstritt, Anna, Mrs. B. A. Vollmer, Mrs. Joseph Selle, Mrs. Frank Leithner, & Mrs. Frank Cheatle, all of St. Marys. One brother, George Briendel, sixty-three grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral was held yesterday morning at nine o'clock.
