Note: 1956 Press/Independent-page 4 Mrs. Alda O. Caskey died at her home in Buffalo Sunday following a long illness. She was a former Rich Valley resident. The remains are being brought here and friends will be received at the Rich Valley Wesleyan Church from 12:30 until the time of the funeral today (Thursday). The Rev. Wilbur Beers will officiate at the service and interment will be made in Rich Valley Cemetery. A more complete obituary will appear next week. 1956 Press/Independent-page 2 "Rich Valley News"--The funeral of Mrs. Alda O. Caskey was held in the Church Thursday afternoon. She passed away in Buffalo, NY Sunday at the age of 81. The older residents remember her as a former schoolteacher and many attended school where she taught.
