Notes
a. Note:   Vincent J. Taylor, Jr., was the head miller at the first flourmill built in Georgetown in 1837. Vincent was a co-partner with Robert P.
Dodge, in the Columbia Mill located in the District of Columbia. In
1851 he purchased a two-story house located at 58 First Street.
William Marbury originally built the house in 1812. On New Year's Eve
1858, Vincent Taylor died, leaving his widow Mrs. Annie Taylor, the
First Street property. Mrs. Taylor rented the property from 1861 to
1866 selling it to Reverend Nicholas P. Tillinghast from Rhode Island.
In 1866 Mrs. Taylor used the income from the First St. property and
another large house she owned on M Street, to move to Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania with her two daughters Sarah and Rose. Son Charles was
already residing in Philadelphia. The house at 58 First Street is now
known as 3307 N. Street. President John F. Kennedy owned the house at
 3307N Street in 1961.
