a. Note:   1910 census states immigrated 1897 and naturalization (NA). He is listed as a Sexton in a church. Family living at 61Van Winkle Avenue, Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey. He had been married five years and his wife has had three children all surviving. All chidren born in New Jersey. States he is 30 years of age.
  Date of birth comes from WWI draft card. Also says he is living at 2787 Boulevard Jersey City. Works as a janitor and wife is Mary. He is described as 5'7", medium build, brown hair, blue eyes.
  1920 census states he immigrated in 1885 and was naturalized in 1891. He is now shown as 45 yoa and a janitor in an apartment house. It appears the address is 2781 Boulevard Boulevard, Jersey City. Looks like a large apartment building because of number of people living there on census.
  1930 census states he immigrated to US in 1897. Is working as a school janitor and living with family at 36 Magnolia Avenue, Jersey City. He is listed as being born in Irish Free State as are both is parents.
